ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT

1. INTRODUCTION

Post Family Resort – Unseld Hotel GmbH is committed to making its website and mobile applications as accessible as possible. This commitment is based on the legal requirements of the Austrian Accessibility Act (BaFG), specifically § 3 BaFG and the Accessibility Regulation (BaF-VO), in implementation of Directive (EU) 2019/882 on the accessibility requirements for products and services.
Our technical implementation is guided by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2 and meets conformance levels A and AA.
This accessibility statement applies to the website post-familyresort.com.

2. ACCESSIBILITY STATUS

This website is partially accessible, as not all accessibility requirements are fully met.Diese Website ist teilweise barrierefrei, da nicht alle Anforderungen vollständig erfüllt sind.

3. NON-ACCESSIBLE CONTENT

a) technical barriers
iFrames without titles: Embedded content such as maps or external videos do not have descriptive titles for screen readers.
third-party iFrames: These contents come from external sources and may not meet accessibility standards – we have no control over their compliance.
incomplete HTML structure: For example, <h1> headings are not consistently used, and form fields are not properly associated with <label> elements.

b) content-related barriers
non-accessible pdf and office documents: These documents often lack semantic structure, accessible tables, or appropriate alternative texts.
mixed languages without markup: Some English terms or sections are not properly tagged in the source code.

c) colour and design issues
limitied scalability with text enlargement:
When the text is significantly enlarged without resizing the window, overlapping or incomplete content display may occur, particularly in navigation areas and interactive elements such as forms.
We plan to address these issues in upcoming layout optimizations to ensure full usability even at high zoom levels.

d) disproportionate burden
According to Article 5 of Directive (EU) 2016/2102, certain content may be exempt from accessibility requirements due to disproportionate burden.
Despite extensive efforts, we are currently unable to make the following content fully accessible:

older pdf and office files

Many documents published before June 26, 2025, do not meet accessibility standards. These often lack clear structure, descriptive alternative texts for images, or contain complex tables that would require significant resources to remediate.
We strive to ensure that all new documents are created to be accessible. If you need a specific document in an accessible version, feel free to contact us – we will provide it if possible.
